This manhwa tells the story of Aria, a stepdaughter in a Count family who returns to the past after she died in a previous life. In her previous life, Aria and her mother died because of her stepbrother and it made Aria hate them so much..

Summary of the Plot and Character Information

The story begins with Aria returning to the past and intending to change her nature from being spoiled, unruly, angry, and like to do whatever she wants to become someone who is more mature and always thinks before acting. After realizing Aria has an hourglass next to her that can help her return to the past even if only a few minutes earlier. Aria's return to the past is also very influential for the Crown Prince, Asher, who in the past was very attached to a duke's daughter named Isis, due to the political situation of their kingdom at that time.

After returning to the past Aria is a very confident figure, firm in her stance, diligent, and always strives to do and get what she wants. Asher, the crown prince is a person who has little power in terms of politics so he is not free and controlled by the duke's family. At first Aria and Asher meet by accident and Aria gives Asher a warning about something she is doing at the time. Not long after, Aria and Asher became business partners before finally becoming lovers.

What is great about this manhwa?

This manhwa is the first manhwa that made me want to read the novel version because I couldn't wait for the episode updates every week. There are so many things I love about this manhwa. First of all, I really like the way Aria avenges her two stepbrothers and stepfather. Aria also always knows how to turn things around so as not to make herself underestimated by others. In terms of Aria and Asher's romance, I really like how Asher always supports Aria in everything she does. What makes this manhwa different from other revenge and regression trope is that they actually explained the reason why she has power and how she is able to go back to the past

Unfortunately, there are some things that I think are unfortunate, a few episodes after Mielle or Aria's half-sister was executed, the storyline began to feel boring because there were no more heavy obstacles that Aria and Asher had to go through. Even so, "The Villainess Reverses Hourglass" is a manhwa that I think is a must-read!
